1. The 1978 STAR WARS HOLIDAY TV SPECIAL
There are quite a few bad-quality versions of this floating around. But those who buys this from me says this is the best quality they've ever seen (if they have seen this before) of this Special! It's great!!
With the original Star Wars Trilogy now on DVD (even though they are the 'special editions'), and the entire world going crazy for "Episode III: Revenge of the Sith," here's the perfect companion piece - the original 1978 Star Wars Holiday TV Special that aired only one single time in November of 1978, and has not seen the light of day since.
Many have not heard of this, so what is it? It's a 2-hour TV special featuring the original cast (Harrison Ford, Carrie Fischer, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, etc) in a new story of how Han Solo has to get Chewbacca back to his family for "Life Day" without the Empire's interference. You see Chewbacca's family (his dad, wife and son) as he tries to get home. As unbelievable as that may sound, that's the story!

Made during the peak of cheesy 70's "variety" television, the special also has a bunch of 70's guest stars thrown in like Beatrice Authur ("Maude"), Art Carney ("Norton"), Harvey Korman, Dianne Carroll and The Jefferson Starship.
The reason why this is so infamous is because it is VERY bad. Astonishingly bad! And that is the appeal! Some of the amazing things you will see are Princess Leia actually SINGING the Star Wars theme song (quite painfully and reportedly while coked up), Mark Hamill looking like a glammed-out David Bowie, Han having touching moments with Chewie's family, Beatrice singing a song in the Star Wars Cantina (while encouraging everyone to drink, great for the kids!), and more, much much more incredible badness, such as full conversations that Chewie's wookie family are having, in full wookie-ese of course.

You'll even see what is probably the first known and recorded instance of cybersex, as in one incredible scene, Art Carney gives Chewbacca's father a virtual reality computer program with an incredibly hot looking Dianne Carroll on it, who then reveals herself as Chewbacca's dad's "fantasy" to give him pleasure, with pop all the while grunting and groaning and such, as she spurts out phone-sex-type lines to him. It has to be seen, and heard, to be believed! Dianne Carroll and Chewie's dad, little kids were watching this!
There are, however, some really cool things about this show. For those who have never seen it, it's great to actually see these classic characters in "new" footage (especially Han and Chewie in the Falcon cockpit), and it also features the very first appearance of Boba Fett, in an amazing animated sequence, this being a full year and a half before he made his debut in 1980's "The Empire Strikes Back!" There's even a scene of Darth Vader walking in the Death Star with an Imperial that is actually an omitted scene from "Star Wars!"

George Lucas himself said that if he can, he would destroy every copy of this program on the planet "with a hammer." No matter how one feels about it, this is the "missing link" in the Star Wars universe.
There was one point in 1978 where pre-production toys were even made of Chewie's family as seen in the Special, but they were never put on the market for sale. Photos exist of the prototype toys.
Quality is great considering this is 26 years old especially. It even has the original broadcast commercials. Maybe you are interested in buying a 1979 AMC Bobcat!
